I have Bachelors, Honours and Masters degrees in Science (Psychology) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology from Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand. I have worked with children, adolescents, families and adults in a variety of different agencies and settings.
I have experience helping those who are struggling with various conditions (e.g. low mood, depression, anxieties, illnesses) or life difficulites (e.g. separation, divorce, adjustment, crisis, trauma, stress and managing difficult life events).
I currently hold a number of contracts with Primary Health Organisations and agencies in Wellington and I also accept private work from clients who wish to self-refer.
I have a solid foundation in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for adults and young people, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
